Root Canal Therapy Reviews
"I am very satisfied that i chose to go to Mint dentistry. I heard the ads on the radio and went in. I had previously went to another dentist and was unhappy with the pricing. They got me in the next day for tooth pain. There was a small wait because they were understaffed, but the staff was sooo friendly and made me feel very welcome. The pricing was better than I expected for it to be a chain denstistryhey referred me to have my root canal which was $300 cheaper with the endodontist they referred me to. I will be telling all of my friends and family about it."- M.H. / Google / Jan 27, 2018
"I have been going to the dentist for the past 8 years for serious work (root canals, extractions). It's not fun by any means but necessary. I recently started going to Mint at the beginning of this year, they work hard at making the experience fun and seamless. Dr. Abraham has been wonderful to work with, my DA LaShonda is a10 all the way and Jason is one of the most knowledgeable hygienests IV ever met (real cool dude). Front office staff is awesome as well so if your looking for a new dentist give Mint Denistry a try, you won't be disappointed."- B.T. / Google / Mar 27, 2018
"Today was the most wonderful experience at this location! The staff was extremely pleasant and patient with all of my questions. I had a root canal done many years on one of my teeth that unfortunately fractured a portion of my tooth. I was terrified that the tooth had been ruined and that I would have to have it extracted. Thanks to the amazing partnership of Dental assistant Ms.Lashonda and Dr. Parker they were able to save my tooth and create a beautiful Crown!!! I am more than excited! Ohh last but certainly not least it was PAIN FREE!!!!!!! Yes PAIN FREE!!!! Thank you!!!"- A.M. / Google / Apr 27, 2018
"After having been up all night with the worst toothache ever in life, I was able to get a 10 am appt. Dr. Park and the wonderful ladies at Mint (Jazmin, LaShonda, and Dorothy) were extremely gentle and diligent in performing a much-needed root canal and getting me on my way. The wait time was minimal and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming, especially Aleta at the front desk, who explained my treatment plan and got me in and out. Even received a follow-up call to check how I was doing following the procedure and if I was having any issues/pain. Overall, positive experience."- A.R. / Google / Jul 27, 2018

The pulp inside a tooth can develop an infection from a physical trauma, a deep crack, or an untreated cavity. The symptoms of a tooth that needs a root canal are tooth or jaw pain, inflamed gum tissue, and changes in the color of the tooth. If the pulp is not removed, it will become increasingly painful as the infection spreads to other teeth and, if left untreated, your bloodstream.
What to Expect
The procedure will begin after you have gotten comfortable in a luxurious treatment chair, where you will be given stylish MINT dentistry sunglasses as well as a pair of Beats headphones so you can listen to music. We want you to feel at ease, so your doctor will help you choose the most effective sedation dentistry method for your root canal therapy. Many patients request nitrous oxide (laughing gas) or oral-conscious sedation to help them remain comfortable during a root canal. During an endodontic procedure, one of our board-certified dentists will remove the pulp utilizing advanced equipment and techniques. From there, the empty chamber will be sterilized to remove any lingering debris. Once the tooth is cleaned, we will use a special filling material to seal and protect the tooth. Usually a crown will be placed over the tooth for protection and strength.
Based on what type of sedation was used, we recommend that you have a responsible adult take you home after your root canal therapy. Your mouth may feel sensitive or swollen for a while so your doctor may prescribe a pain reliever. You should schedule a follow-up appointment six months after your procedure. Your dentist will make sure the infection is gone and that your mouth has healed. After that, you should schedule cleanings and exams.
